I am an eVEGelist (a VeggieTales Representative), but that in no way shaped my opinion of this movie or any other VeggieTales product.
I have waited eagerly to tell you about VeggieTales news. Now I can tell you all about Beauty and the Beet with as much enthusiasm as I want.
You can watch this little preview to see the gist of this movie.
This movie is an awesome family show worth watching together this holiday season and beyond. I love the morals it teaches in it. It teaches kids how to love all kinds of people even when they really don’t deserve it. It really brings home the message of 1 John 4:11 of loving one another.
I have three kids who all show their love to us in different ways. My oldest does it by writing love notes via email, Skype or handwritten notes. My middle child LOVES to give me flowers. My daughter does it with grand hugs and kisses. This worksheet will help you and your child determine how they can show their love to someone else.
If they are like my middle son, they’ll enjoy making these tissue flowers to give to the people they love in their households. Yes, men love to receive flowers too even if they don’t want to admit it out loud.

Do your kids struggle with showing love unconditionally?
I dont have any young children anymore but my friends and family do,I think Veggie Tales are wonderful learning and growing tools for the children of our future today.
They are a great set of movies and I’m definitely looking forward to their new series on Netflix next month.
I admit it, I will still watch VT on tv when it is on. In fact, Jonah was on the other day, and I sat and watched the whole thing while I was folding laundry. I miss the fact that my boys are too grown up to watch it(at least, they want me to think that. I found them watching it too). I hope they continue to bring their high quality family friendly videos!
If you watch their shows. I’m confident you’ll love this movie!
