We are big huge entertainment junkies in our household. We are all guilty of not wanting to miss a single thing concerning our TV shows even though we have to do other things that require us to watch them somewhere other than our domains.
The kids and I have our domain in the living room with my big HDTV. We get to enjoy our shows on it. Plus we have our own video game systems that we use for entertainment and gaming. However, there are times when the kids take over my TV. So, I literally watch my shows on my laptop.
I’m so grateful that CWTV.com hosts full episodes of my favorite shows such as Hart of Dixie, so that I can watch it on my laptop if for some reason my DVR doesn’t record my show. I also watch some of my Netflix shows on my laptop because I don’t think they are overly kid friendly and I don’t want to have to wait to watch them.
Del has his man cave with his own HDTV and game systems too. Del has literally started watching WWE Network on his HDTV in his man cave. He loves that watching that network to the point that I’ve literally watched him pause his show on his TV, and then log into his Mini iPad and head into the bathroom so he can Catch It All.
Can you tell we are huge technology gurus here yet? We literally love staying up to date with the entertainment world. We love using these things smartly to allow us to have enjoyment in as many little moments as we can catch them.
Do you use more than one form of technology to watch your favorite show or sports event?
We use the Kindle, my phone and laptops (not all at the same time of course).
My husband and I can watch our shows on the Kindle or my phone while the kids see somtehing on Netflix with the laptop, it works really well!
My husband has his iPad and the TV. I watch a lot of TV on my iPad.
I watch a lot of TV on my iPad and even on my phone!
I tried to watch some of my shows on my phone, but found it utterly to small to do that. I do watch some on my Kindle Fire if I really want to curl up in bed.
I usually prefer watching movies or TV shows on my laptop, considering my husband takes over the TV with old wrestling and college basketball. 😀
Is your husband watching Wrestle Mania? We watch it every year together.
We pretty much use all our devices to catch our favorite shows.
I am amazed by how much we are able to keep up with everything now in our technological world. It’s hard to believe even in my mind even though I do it all time. Especially since, I was living in a hole most of my childhood because my Mom wasn’t into TV, cell phones, or even allowed a computer in our house. Internet was to scary of a place and out of the question for me to be on.
