I don’t know about you, but I’m a HUGE procrastinator. I tend to wait until the very last minute to get gifts or to do a lot of things in life. However, I get them done. I typically do them right too. That’s why I feel it’s important to give you some fantastic VERY last minute gifts to give mother this year.
Without further ado here is your suggestions:
If your mother is interested in homesteading, homemaking, homeschooling or crafting in general then I’m confident that she will LOVE a subscription to Molly Green! The subscription for a year is typical $44.95. However, if you order between now and midnight on May 8, 2016, and use the coupon code: mothersday2016 at checkout you can get it for only $25.00. This subscription also gives her access to a wide range of resources online too!!
Help Her Save Money
If your mother does a lot of shopping on Amazon, a good idea would be to get/renew her Prime subscription. At least that will save her money on her shipping and also allow her to get products at a discounted price too.
Online Streaming Services
I’m a huge movie buff! That’s why I love doing movie reviews so much. I appreciate having a Netflix account. Especially since Orange is the New Black is coming back on in June. There are also many new and returning series on Netflix that I do indulge in watching when the kids go to bed. A Netflix subscription is a good option as a gift too!
However, there are times when I want to curl up and watch wholesome movies with my kids without worrying about what we’re watching.
Did you know that Hallmark has their own online streaming service?
“Feeln is the leading streaming service that brings you heartfelt stories of love and togetherness – anytime, anywhere – including the exclusive library of Hallmark Hall of Fame features, Hollywood movies, TV series, and award-winning originals you won’t find anywhere else.”
I have had a membership already that I got with my own money. My kids and I have become quite addicted to watching many of the series and movies on there.
They just opened up a new series called The Eleventh. “The Eleventh” is a Feeln original drama series that focuses on a young girl’s journey to getting to know her estranged grandmother in order to bring closure to the past and unite her family.
Watch full episodes of ‘The Eleventh’ on Feeln.
Another great streaming service subscription to get her is one for PureFlix. Streaming Christian Movies from PureFlix is a wonderful way to keep the whole family entertained. I LOVE curling up with Zeva and Delbert with Jimmy to watch movies off of PureFlix. They also have a LONG list of educational shows that help with our homeschooling journey too.
FREE Gift Ideas
Gift giving doesn’t have to cost anything. If you’re looking for ways to spoil her, you can do that by meeting a need she has.
Many mothers want the ability to relax and do NOTHING all day long.
They don’t want to have to worry about cooking, cleaning, keeping kids entertained, or anything else for that matter. They just want to be left ALONE to do as they please. Peace and quiet to a mother are music to their ears on some occasions.
Capture the Memories
Then you may have other types of mothers who love to hear their kids play and have a good time. To them, that is the best part of being a mother. Help them capture those memories of their special time together by taking loads of pictures for them. Then create a collage or other item as a way for them to remember that special Mother’s Day for a lifetime.
Pamper them!
Give them a spa treatment at home which can include manicures and pedicures. Or you could even take the simple route of just making them a hot bubble bath with candles and soft music playing waiting on them to indulge themselves UNINTERRUPTED!
Regardless what gift(s) you decide to give your mother, I’m confident she’ll appreciate them. I do hope that these ideas help you out, though.
Does any of these last minute gift ideas for mother sound like something your mother would appreciate?
You guess what I wanted to do…nothing planned! I found on Facebook that our local indie bookstore had an autorgraphed copy of Rick Riordan’s newest book. We went to get it and played it by ear after that. It was great!
Thanks for sharing with Small Victories Sunday Linkup. Pinning to our linkup board and hope you found some great posts to visit this week!
I’m glad that you had a great Mother’s Day. Meeting an author and having them sign a book for you sounds like a lot of fun. There are a few authors I’d love to meet in person.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting. I hope to see you again soon.
