Our Watch List Suggestions

I rented this movie from our Netflix account. I was so eager to see this movie. I thought I would be in total enjoyment watching it with the kids.

I enjoyed this movie, but it was not what I expected. I expected to see some really good effects in this movie. However, everything looked really fake. That could be because I’ve been seeing a whole lot more sci-fi movies with Del over the past couple of years. Either way, I wasn’t overly impressed with the effects in this movie. For me personally it took away from the movie.

The kids loved watching Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. They were totally wrapped up in the story line. They felt that the characters in it were well worth checking out.

They disagreed with me concerning the graphics in the movie. They thought they were amazing and they especially liked the sea creature.

I ended up falling asleep off and on throughout the movie. Zeva didn’t want to sit still and watch it, so she kept waking me up. Of course, I had to have the lights off just to be able to really view this movie with ease because it was so dark.

Del and I had watched this movie earlier on, and it wasn’t one he wanted to watch again. So, I was a bit disappointed that we weren’t having another family movie event. However, after sitting through it again I can see why he felt that way.

Did I mention how much watching fun watching The Croods as a family was? It’s available to watch through the Internet via Netflix now too. It’s such a great family movie. It’s sure to give you loads of laughs. I’m sorry we couldn’t help but compare the characters to the ones in our family too.

Del has been watching Netflix series like crazy lately. He  loves being able to watch his anime series like crazy. Now mind you Del has watched these shows for years in our home, but I have NEVER paid them any attention. I have determined these are men’s versions of chick flicks. Do you realize how much love sappy stuff is in those shows?? I know I never did until NOW.

Well, I’m off to record my kids. They want to create their own shows.
