I was given these books to review in exchange for an honest blog post review. That in no way shaped my opinion of these books.
All month long I’ve been talking about Miller’s Creek series! I have loved and enjoyed getting to know the small town folks of Miller’s Creek. I just finished the fourth book in the series Pilgrimage of Promise (A Miller’s Creek Novel). This book was truly remarkable. It really touched home for me because as you know Del and I had a love relationship where my Mom was dead set against us being together. However, I failed Del miserably and didn’t keep the promise that we made to each other on our life altering night.
All throughout the book Bo was trying to explain to Mama Beth why he broke his promise to her so many years ago. We get to see how their love story unfolded from start to finish. If you love a true love romance then this book will captivate you from beginning to end. You will probably shed some tears along the way.
This book made me value the fact that Del and I are married and together even more. I do long to find the words and the way to make Del understand why I made the messed up decisions that I made so that he can also understand before we are separated by death. However, I don’t have the luxury of giving him love letters for him to read from those dark days we were apart.
Like Mama Beth, I fear that I’m losing Del every day because his health is not as strong or as good as it should be. It is putting a strain on our marriage because I don’t do well with sickness. I am NOT nurse material in any way shape or form. I love him with every ounce of my being, but I don’t have it within me to show the right things when a person is sick or suffering in pain. I pray that I have many more years to enjoy being Del’s wife! I thank God every day that he put us back together.
I was hoping to have the fifth book in this series read in time for yesterday’s Facebook party, but there just isn’t enough of me to go around. However, I will be digging into A Bridge Unbroken (A Miller’s Creek Novel) tonight for sure. I missed the launch party which was yesterday. (My dates have literally gotten away from me all YEAR long! I feel like I’m a hamster spinning backwards on my wheel instead of forwards.)
In honor of this book being launched yesterday, I wanted to share more information given to me by Cathy herself.

What Readers are Saying:
This book is another home run for Cathy Bryant! She has a shown a knack for writing books with a balance of romance, mystery, suspense and Christianity all in one book, or actually, into a series of books. There were times I was sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I loved how I thought I had it figured out only to realize ~ not so much! This book is a good read. Try it and the other books in the Miller’s Creek series. This book showed the power and importance of forgiveness and its impact on our lives. God is always there, offering what we need, waiting for us to realize that we are ready to accept it.
