Whip Up a Low-Calorie Wendy’s Frosty this Sunday!

I’ve talked about how my partner and I are trying to eat healthier this year, though I’ll be the first to admit that he’s doing a much better job at losing weight than I am. But his weakness is dessert, and one of his favourite fast food treats is a frosty from Wendy’s. Before we started dating, I had no idea how delicious frosties were, and he taught me the simple joy of dipping my french fries into my vanilla ice cream (or “soquid,” if you grew up when those adverts were a thing). We spent a while last weekend trying to put together a delicious low-calorie Wendy’s frosty recipe, and this is what we came up with!

Make a Low-Calorie Wendy’s Frosty

  • 1 cup of skim milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp sugar-free vanilla or chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 tbsp fat-free whip topping
  • Ice cubes

To make your low-calorie Wendy’s frosty, just dump all the ingredients in a blender and blend everything together. We added between 10 to 15 ice cubes to ours to get the same consistency as the original, and my boyfriend likes to stick his frosty in the freezer for a few minutes so that it thickens up as well. Your frosty will end up being under 150 calories depending on the pudding mix and the whip topping you use, which isn’t bad at all!
